About Eagle Wings

Eagle Wings serves the North Puget Sound area by offering
friendship and relational support to persons with disAbilities, their
families and caregivers. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation
dependent on and funded by the generosity of the private sector -
gifts from individuals, churches, businesses, service clubs, and
foundations. All gifts are tax-deductible.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of Eagle Wings is to bring persons with disAbilities, as
well as the community at large, together into a relationship. We offer
mutual acceptance in an environment where love is expressed, and
we develop and introduce new relationships for persons with
disAbilities. These relationships are with caring persons and have
potential for long-term friendships which extend beyond our events.
By doing so we hope to create community where there has often
been isolation, loneliness and brokenness. We celebrate the
wonderful creation of each individual and his or her giftedness. We
are particularly interested in serving persons with limited or no
resources. We do not charge for our services, and we serve without
discrimination.

The Vision of Eagle Wings

Eagle Wings disAbility Ministries was founded after discovering that
there are over 111,000 persons with disAbilities in the North Puget
Sound; over 36,000 are severely disabled. We form relationships
with persons with disAbilities to address their isolation, loneliness,
and marginalization. We promote independence and realize the
many gifts that the people we serve have to offer those of us whose
disabilities aren't as visible. We all have them.
